Description

Build and maintain data pipelines and processing systems for big data workloads.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy applications to public or private cloud environments.
• Implement ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
• Process and manage big data using frameworks like Spark and Hadoop.
• Develop and test RESTful web services using Spring Boot or comparable frameworks.
• Operate and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with object-oriented programming (Java/Scala).
• 3+ years developing and deploying to public/private cloud.
• 2+ years with Python programming.
• 2+ years with database programming (SQL).
• 2+ years experience with big data processing (Spark, Hadoop, Hive).
• Experience with DevOps tools (Harness, Jenkins, Terraform).
• Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Skills

• Associate Architect or Professional Cloud Certification in GCP/Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
