Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines moving data from on-premises Oracle databases to Snowflake using change data capture (CDC) mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test data engineering components, ETL workflows, and stored procedures.
• Implement automated data pipelines for customer consumption from Oracle to Snowflake.
• Analyze and develop technical specifications and enterprise programming standards.
• Follow architecture and configuration management practices to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation to support the platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Strong command of PL/SQL, Python, and T-SQL.
• Experience with StreamSets and Snowflake Streams.
• Ability to perform general ETL and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) work.
• Experience working within Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience loading data from Snowflake file stages into existing tables.
• Experience building near-real-time data pipelines between relational sources and destinations.
• Experience with data streaming tools such as Fivetran, Striim, or Airbyte.
