Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services and Snowflake.
• Model data (conceptual, logical, physical) to optimize Snowflake warehouse performance.
• Build scalable data architectures to support analytics, reporting, and data science needs.
• Automate data workflows using orchestration tools like Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security align with enterprise standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall experience, including recent senior data engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, including schema design and query optimization.
• Proficiency in AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and IAM.
• Solid experience with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica or Talend.
• Knowledge of Git and DevOps practices applied to data engineering.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, 3NF).
