Description

Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise data solutions within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise data solutions using cloud-based technologies.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and documented processes.
• Apply software development best practices including automated testing, peer code reviews, CI/CD, and continuous integration.
• Research and introduce new technologies while providing technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams as part of a larger data-sharing system.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in programming and object-oriented design, with a preference for Python.
• Strong database fundamentals including SQL, relational and non-relational data models, and schema design.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, specifically AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Python and the Pytest framework for workflow orchestration and automated testing.
• Experience building and deploying products using continuous integration principles.
• Working knowledge of software development tools including Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA.
• Understanding of Big Data ETL methodologies and managing large-scale data sets.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse, including JavaScript stored procedures and table streams.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, EMR, Lambda, or SNS/SQS.
