Description

You will lead the design and maintenance of infrastructure for data storage, processing, and analysis.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data pipelines for efficient integration, transformation, and delivery across the enterprise.
• Design ETL/ELT processes to extract data from databases, APIs, and external systems into appropriate storage.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and cleaning to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor and tune data systems to resolve bottlenecks using caching and indexing strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, C#, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI for business intelligence and analytics.
• Background in data integration, master data management, and data governance.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience in prescriptive and predictive analytics.
