Description

You will design, build, and support data pipelines and workflows for the Thomson Reuters Special Services organization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to maximize dataset utility.
• Develop custom client solutions and proofs of concept.
• Improve internal processes through automation and AI integrations.
• Provide solution architecture support for new business opportunities.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of data engineering or related experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with Restful web services and data communications technologies.
• Ability to connect to and query relational and document-oriented databases.
• Comfortable working in GUI and command line environments on Linux and Windows.
• Basic understanding of data structures including XML, JSON, and flat files.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading the implementation and customization of technical solutions.
