Description

Refactor and migrate analytical tools from R to Python for a four-month contract.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and simplify the production pipeline for analytical tools to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
• Analyze the existing R codebase to ensure a faithful and improved migration to Python.
• Translate complex logic and algorithms from R into clean, efficient, and documented Python code.
• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data and modeling pipelines using Python.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure the reliability of the new Python codebase.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with R and SQL.
• At least 4 years of professional programming experience in Python.
• Experience designing and building data-intensive solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Web API development.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Math, Stats, or Data Science.
