Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines to extract insights from structured and unstructured datasets.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex datasets to meet business requirements and identify areas for improvement.
• Apply scientific methods and algorithms to extract knowledge from noisy data.
• Build and maintain analytics tools using data pipelines to track operational efficiency and business metrics.
• Support technical teams in designing, developing, and testing cost-effective data assimilation and reporting strategies.
• Perform quality checks, technical troubleshooting, and data management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Reporting.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience working with Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Practical knowledge of Spark for data management.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong analytical skills for working with unstructured datasets.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Health and Human Services (HHS).
• Experience working in CMMI Level 3 or higher environments.
