Description

You will design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows within large-scale data warehousing environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build complex transformations in IBM InfoSphere DataStage using Transformers, Joins, Lookups, Aggregators, and Routines.
• Develop and manage data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Automate processes, job scheduling, and system monitoring using Unix shell scripting.
• Optimize ETL performance for high-volume data processing and real-time reporting.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalable and secure data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage for ETL workflow deployment.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, Route 53, and Elastic IP.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata.
• Strong Unix shell scripting skills for automation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of data profiling and quality assessment using Information Analyzer and QualityStage.
• Exposure to Python or R for data exploration and statistical analysis.
