Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and analytics tools to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured datasets.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex datasets that meet business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build and maintain analytics tools utilizing data pipelines to provide insights into operational efficiency and business performance metrics.
• Support technical teams in designing, developing, testing, and implementing cost-effective data assimilation and reporting strategies.
• Perform data management, quality checks, and technical troubleshooting using Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to ensure data integrity and reporting quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience with Spark.
• Ability to work with unstructured datasets and apply scientific methods to extract knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Health and Human Services (HHS).
• Experience working in CMMI Level 3 or higher environments.
