Description

You will design, implement, and operationalize large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and Snow SQL.
• Build UNIX and Python scripts to extract, load, and transform data.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation designs and code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure optimal execution patterns and adherence to standards.
• Provide production support for data warehouse issues, including data load and transformation problems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing production-grade large-scale data solutions on Microsoft Azure Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features including Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Zero Copy Cloning.
• Proficiency in Python, Databricks, and Snow SQL for data ingestion and processing.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data Modeling.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items in relation to Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake on Azure architecture and internals.
• Experience developing UNIX and Python scripts for ETL and utility functions.
• Ability to automate data pipelines using cloud-based testing.
