Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and models within the Snowflake data store, leveraging REST APIs and ETL tools to support distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize efficient SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and analysis.
• Build and manage data objects, modeling, and schema design in both relational stores (DB2) and cloud data stores (Snowflake).
• Implement ETL processes using Informatica and Talend to integrate data across systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into Snowflake.
• Create data visualizations and reports using Tableau and PowerBI.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or MIS.
• 7-10+ years of experience in data analysis, data object development, and modeling.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake, including REST API usage.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica and Talend ETL tools.
• Expert-level SQL and Python scripting skills.
• Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and schema design for relational and cloud data stores.
• Proven ability to work in distributed systems environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Experience collaborating with data scientists and experts.
