Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Snowflake-focused Data Engineer / Database Analyst who can operate across both database administration and development.

A strong candidate will bring:

Snowflake + Strong SQL + ETL/Data Engineering + Troubleshooting + Data Integration

The candidate should be able to independently investigate issues, build and improve data solutions, manage Snowflake access, maintain pipelines and scheduled jobs, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Candidates with 5, 7, or even 10+ years of experience may be considered if their skills and interests align with the Database Analyst/Programmer 2 responsibilities. Experience level alone is not a disqualifier.

Relocation candidates are acceptable provided they make their own relocation arrangements and can be onsite from their first day.

This role provides an opportunity to work within SPPD Digital Data Engineering organization and contribute to the modernization of its enterprise data environment.

The position offers hands-on exposure to Snowflake, data engineering, ETL, enterprise data integration, data governance, cloud technologies, and modern AI-assisted development tools, while supporting data solutions used across Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Analytics, and other business functions.

Important: This role should be sourced as a Data Engineering + Snowflake position rather than a traditional Database Administrator position.
