Description

You will develop and maintain database components for a proprietary Oracle application, owning the full lifecycle from ETL to optimization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries across large datasets.
• Implement ETL functions using external tables, UTL_FILE, and SQL Loader.
• Develop and manage stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL.
• Utilize Linux shell scripting for operational tasks.
• Manage database development using tools like Quest Toad for Oracle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in database engineering.
• Deep coding experience in Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers).
• Expertise in creating and analyzing high-performance SQL queries.
• Proficiency with ETL processes, Big Data concepts, and SQL.
• Experience with Cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Knowledge of Oracle Scheduler integration and Dynamic SQL/BULK Collection.
• Experience with Git tools (e.g., GitLab, SourceTree).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with proprietary Oracle Application support.
