Description

You will build and maintain data applications to support a large-scale architectural migration within an Agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain code to ingest and manage data from heterogeneous sources, including web-based sources, databases, and flat files.
• Develop and support the construction of a new enterprise data warehouse while maintaining existing structures.
• Design storage and retrieval strategies for large internal and external datasets to support cloud migration convergence.
• Assess scaling impacts to ensure sustained data management and delivery performance.
• Build interfaces to accommodate new data sources, types, and evolving applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building data pipelines in Python or Java.
• 2+ years of experience working in Azure Cloud Services.
• Expertise with Azure Data Factory and transactional database engines like SQL Server.
• Fluency in SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with data lakes, data marts, and data warehouses.
• Domain experience in Asset Management, specifically supporting Fixed Income products.
• Experience with Spark and Hadoop or other Big Data platforms.
• Working experience in a Linux-based environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to containers such as Docker or ECS and deploying code through pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and SAFe methodology.
