Description

You will build and deploy data pipelines and application code within an AWS cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy application code using SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines.
• Secure data assets using IAM and Active Directory.
• Implement monitoring and logging via CloudWatch and Splunk.
• Manage version control and branching through Artifactory, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience developing data pipelines in AWS.
• Proficiency with AWS services: Glue, Athena, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum, and Step Functions.
• Hands-on experience with S3, EC2, Boto3, and CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) development skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and big data/warehouse environments such as Hadoop or DB2 LUW.
• Proficiency in Linux and UNIX shell scripting.
• 3-5 years of experience with Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of version control tools including Jenkins and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or other AWS certifications.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
