Description

You will design and maintain data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to move and transform data.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and data models for efficient retrieval.
• Manage data transformation workflows and ensure data quality using dbt.
• Monitor pipelines to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and database design.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) for transformation workflows.
• Proficiency in Python or .NET for custom data processing and automation.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Working knowledge of data lakes, data governance, and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks.
