Description

Design and implement data infrastructure and analytical tools to support Balance Sheet management and optimization for the Capital Markets group.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data infrastructure and analytical toolsets.
• Build and manage data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow across large, disconnected datasets.
• Develop and deploy Python-based tools within a production environment.
• Extract value from complex datasets to support high-impact business decisions.
• Collaborate with various organizational groups to integrate data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
• Strong background in Capital Markets, specifically Fixed Income, Bonds, or Swaps.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven track record of deploying and managing Python codebases in production.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Experience using Plotly, QlikSense, or Tableau for data visualization.
• Knowledge of statistical methods including PCA, linear regression, logistic regression, KNN, and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Ability to build analytical tools for complex data analysis.
