Description

You will design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems and databases to support business initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain architectures for large-scale data processing and databases.
• Design efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code within the data ecosystem.
• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts.
• Optimize existing systems and build new ones using various languages and tools.
• Ensure architectural consistency and data quality across all engineering initiatives.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or in a similar data management role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Expertise in SQL database design.
• Experience with big data tools including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience building ETL pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of machine learning methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
