Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and databases for the Non-Financial Risk Technology team, translating business requirements into technical solutions and leading onsite operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement databases and datastores to ensure performance, scalability, and integrity.
• Write complex SQL queries and create views for downstream reporting consumers.
• Automate database tasks, including ETL and monitoring, using Python and Shell scripting.
• Enforce data security, access controls, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with business users to define requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data development within complex, high-volume environments.
• 7+ years of SQL experience, including ad-hoc and complex query writing.
• 5+ years of Python experience for writing clean, effective code.
• Strong proficiency in RDBMS systems, specifically Postgres.
• Experience with scripting languages, including Python and Shell.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of Git and Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines for automated code deployment.
