You will bridge the gap between complex financial data and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data for detailed analysis.
• Identify trends, discrepancies, and potential compliance issues within financial datasets.
• Build meaningful reports and dashboards using data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead presentations to stakeholders via Teams or Zoom in a remote environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role in the financial industry.
• Extensive experience using Splunk.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• Deep knowledge of financial specialties including Commercial Loans, Asset-Based Financing, SBA Loans, Real Estate Loans, and Cash Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory matters.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with compliance software such as Verafin or Actimize.
• Knowledge of Azure or GCP cloud platforms for data management.
• Familiarity with BSA/AML regulatory frameworks.
