Description

This role owns the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and reporting solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries on Vertica and other enterprise-scale databases.
• Build scalable reporting and visualization solutions using MicroStrategy.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using cloud platforms.
• Translate complex technical outputs into meaningful dashboards and summaries for stakeholders.
• Work with large-scale datasets in analytics environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, specifically Vertica (Vsql) and BigQuery.
• Experience with database management tools such as DBeaver.
• Hands-on experience creating and optimizing MicroStrategy reports.
• Strong background in building data pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-scale analytics environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
