Description

You will support research on data requirements for new functionality and troubleshoot data-driven defects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot data-driven defects involving Snowflake, data lakes, and AWS integrations.
• Conduct research on data requirements to support new functional developments.
• Write and optimize SQL for relational databases.
• Manage version control and issue tracking within established CI/CD workflows.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake performance tuning.
• Experience with HiveSQL and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in writing SQL for relational databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with data pipeline tools and ETL/ELT processes (Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or dbt).
• Knowledge of scripting languages including Python and Bash for automation and orchestration.
• Experience with data modeling and warehousing concepts.
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Bitbucket for version control and JIRA for issue tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD implementation.
