Description

You will build and maintain large-scale enterprise applications using Big Data open-source solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-volume real-time and batch ETL application processing.
• Design distributed cloud services with a focus on security, isolation, and multi-tenant architecture.
• Build and maintain large-scale applications using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Elastic Search.
• Implement RESTful API design best practices.
• Manage data through Change Management and Incident Management processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra).
• Experience with Big Data and Hadoop ecosystems including HDFS, HBase, Hive, Pig, Spark, MapReduce, and Cloudera.
• Experience with AWS, Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Experience with PySpark and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, and Control M.
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Apache, or Hibernate.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cassandra and Kafka.
