Design and deliver secure, scalable data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions within an agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain critical data pipelines and architectures across various business functions.
• Update logical and physical data models based on evolving use cases.
• Innovate new methods for managing, transforming, and validating data.
• Apply quality assurance best practices and review controls to ensure enterprise data protection.
• Make custom configuration changes in tools to meet specific business or customer requests.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of applied experience in data engineering disciplines.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins and aggregations.
• Proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Impala, Hive, Redshift, and Kafka.
• Working understanding of NoSQL database platforms and writing efficient queries.
• Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Experience with statistical data analysis and identifying appropriate data patterns.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with high accuracy.
• Experience across the full data lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data analytics and management processes on AWS.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB and/or Cassandra.
• Experience in Financial Services, Commercial, or Investment Banking.
