Description

You will design, build, and maintain data infrastructure supporting microservice applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for microservice applications.
• Develop scalable data models following System of Record (SOR) architecture.
• Create and manage database schemas, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Database roles.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in complex SQL queries and stored procedure development.
• Experience with data modeling and schema design principles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including RDS (PostgreSQL), Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, Lambda, and Glue.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL/ELT development and scripting.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and integration using Java or Spring Boot.
