Description

Build and maintain cloud data pipelines and ETL/ELT assets using Snowflake, dbt, and Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and build ETL data assets in AWS S3 and Snowflake.
• Implement ELT transformations using dbt and Python.
• Migrate data assets from IBM DataStage/Informatica and on-prem databases like Netezza to cloud platforms.
• Create and manage data pipelines supporting CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with analysts to define technical requirements and perform logical/physical data modelling.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and AWS S3.
• Strong experience with dbt for data transformations.
• Expertise in IBM DataStage or Informatica.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and data processing.
• Experience with version control (git) and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Familiarity with Control-M for job scheduling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VS Code Copilot for development efficiency.
