Description

You will design and maintain scalable analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations aligned with business requirements.
• Build efficient semantic models and star schema data models using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Data Engineering pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Warehouse.
• Optimize datasets, visuals, and DAX queries to ensure report performance and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot dataset refresh failures, permission issues, and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar analytics engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (Workspaces, Gateways, Deployment Pipelines).
• Advanced DAX skills and deep knowledge of Power Query (M Language).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Dataflows Gen2, or Warehouse).
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing report performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure data ecosystem (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, ADF).
• Familiarity with CI/CD for Power BI and governance best practices.
