Description

Design, build, and optimize data platforms and analytics solutions using Azure services. You will own the end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects, from modeling to visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, ETL pipelines, and Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build and optimize the Azure Data Lake and data platform architecture for scalability and performance.
• Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance across all data sources and warehouses.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on data engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development and data analytics.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying, performance tuning, and data retrieval.
• Strong knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
• Proven experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with SAP and Business Objects is required.
• Ability to work independently and guide team members through complex data challenges.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric for modern data estate management.
• HANA modeling experience.
• Experience working in a captive environment with cross-functional teams.
