Description

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data warehouses using Python, Java, and Azure Cloud services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and applications to support large-scale architectural migration.
• Design and support storage and retrieval of large internal and external datasets within the data lake and data warehouse.
• Develop interfaces for evolving applications and accommodate new data sources, including web, databases, and flat files.
• Assess scaling impacts and ensure sustained data management and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years building data pipelines in Python or Java.
• 2+ years experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure Data Factory.
• Expert proficiency with SQL for data analysis and transactional database engines like SQL Server.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or other big data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data lake, data mart, and data warehouse architectures.
• Asset Management industry domain experience, specifically supporting Fixed Income products.
• Experience deploying code through pipelines, working with containers (ECS/Docker), and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SAFe, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Direct experience supporting multiple business units for foundational data work.
