Data Engineer - Python

You will build and maintain data pipelines and software systems using Python and modern data warehousing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and data processing logic using Python.
• Design and implement data workflows within Snowflake and other data warehouse systems.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate data sources via REST APIs and manage object storage in S3.
• Build and maintain data structures in MongoDB and SQL databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software design and Python development.
• Proficiency with SQL and data warehousing systems like Snowflake.
• Experience with Trino, Presto, or Dremio.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and object store/data lake concepts.
• Competency with Git, Shell, and CLI tools.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Skill in data manipulation using Pandas.
• Ability to visualize data using Tableau.
