Description

You will own data quality and engineering workflows within a Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement new data quality controls directly in Snowflake.
• Develop data pipelines and frameworks using Snowflake and Snowpark.
• Review and provide feedback on existing data mappings and ETL processes.
• Perform data profiling to identify quality issues and define remediation strategies.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews to maintain engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data management.
• Expertise in Snowflake and strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Snowpark using Python, Java, or Scala.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
• Hands-on experience with data profiling and data quality controls.
• Ability to review and challenge ETL pipelines and data mappings.
• Solid understanding of data management and governance concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Industry experience in Banking, Telecom, or Pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with ETL tools and business analysis.
• Exposure to machine learning or AI in the context of data management.
