Description

You will build and document automated data pipelines from diverse sources with an emphasis on scale.

Responsibilities

• Build automated data pipelines and highly available APIs using an AWS-based stack for near-real-time integrations.
• Contribute to architecture, frameworks, and design patterns for high-volume data storage and processing.
• Develop solutions to measure, improve, and monitor data quality based on business requirements.
• Design and implement reporting and analytics features within an Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Support product health by building scalable, sustainable solutions that minimize technical debt and defects.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, SNS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Proficiency with Python and ANSI SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and techniques.
