Description

You will build and manage scalable data pipelines and analytics tools within a cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform tools including Dataflow, PubSub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
• Develop analytics tools and Tableau visualizations to provide insights into operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with data scientists to optimize AI solutions and data system functionality.
• Automate manual processes and optimize data delivery to improve system performance.
• Maintain data integrity and regionalization by defining boundaries across multiple GCP zones.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of professional data engineering experience.
• Proficiency with big data cloud tools including PubSub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
• At least 2 years of experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• At least 2 years of experience with object-oriented or object-functional scripting in Python, Java, or Scala.
• At least 2 years of experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, Pentaho, or Talend.
• Ability to partner with Product, Technology, and Architecture teams to resolve technical data issues.

Preferred Skills

• GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud certifications.
• Experience supporting Machine Learning or AI projects, including preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
