Description

You will build and maintain data systems using Scala and functional programming principles.

You will own the release pipeline and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Write software to implement complex business requirements through incremental delivery.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to build, test, and deploy artifacts.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem.
• Optimize data processes for efficiency and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Scala or Java with a focus on object-oriented and functional programming.
• Experience with Apache Spark and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, Glue, Lambda, and S3.
• Proficiency with MongoDB or DocumentDB.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL.
