Description

You will build and maintain large-scale data platforms and support critical data services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and fix bugs in Spark jobs for the Data Replication Service.
• Debug and resolve issues within the SparkCp library and the CDH Migration Tool.
• Implement monitoring and alerting improvements for core data tools to increase supportability.
• Perform data onboarding tasks to facilitate customer data migration.
• Monitor and address user requests and technical issues as they arise.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with large-scale data platforms.
• Expertise in Java and Spark.
• Experience with Parquet, Avro, Hive, or Iceberg.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control using Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Golang.
