Description

You will own database stability and data transformation pipelines for the platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose Oracle database issues to maintain platform stability.
• Develop and optimize data transformation processes, structures, and metadata management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accurate data requirements.
• Document deployment, maintenance, and support procedures for smooth operations.
• Mentor junior team members on CI/CD best practices and automation.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle database management and SQL performance troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cassandra, CQL, and DataStax tools.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or database administration.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment (Seattle, WA).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication technology.
• Experience with DataStage for data integration tasks.
