Description

You will act as the Senior Data Engineer for a Personalization Chapter team, translating product requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions to achieve product business goals.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Management teams to define technology solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Support critical applications and ensure rapid issue resolution.
• Develop highly scalable distributed systems using open-source technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database design and development using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL (DynamoDB, Aerospike).
• 5+ years of programming experience in SQL, R, or Python.
• 4+ years of experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica or Snaplogic.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services including S3, EMR, EC2, Lambda, Athena, and CFT.
• 3+ years of experience in Python and Java application development using Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, or SQS.
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, and Spring Core.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, and DevOps deployment.
• Deep understanding of API design, versioning, and Swagger documentation.
• Proficiency with ALM tools such as Jira, gitStash, FishEye, Crucible, Maven, and uDeploy.
• Experience with code quality tools like Sonar.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of public/private cloud capabilities regarding compute, storage, and scaling.
