Description

You will build and maintain complex data pipelines and sources within a Snowflake data platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure and Snowflake.
• Write SQL stored procedures and functions to execute complex transformations.
• Design logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Manage code deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot production data issues and standardize data cleaning processes.

Required Skills

• 1-4 years of hands-on industry experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and writing complex queries.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
• Extensive experience with Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Blob storage, Functions, and Key Vault.
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT patterns, Change Data Capture (CDC), and SCD logic.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and BI solutions.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for code lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of access control and data masking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform, Python, or Spark.
• Hands-on work with Snowpipe Streaming for real-time analytics.
• Experience developing optimized data models for Tableau or PowerBI.
