Description

You will build and manage data pipelines and transformation processes within a Snowflake environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowpipe to automate data ingestion from Amazon S3 into Snowflake.
• Utilize Snowflake Streams to capture and manage change data.
• Write and maintain stored procedures to process and transform data across Snowflake layers.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning and storage cost management.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and Snowflake operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Proven expertise with Snowpipe, Snowflake Streams, and stored procedures.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with Amazon S3.
• Fundamental understanding of AWS services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certification(s).
• Programming experience with Python or JavaScript.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
