Description

You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and DBT.
• Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Optimize database performance for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Implement best practices in data modeling, governance, and quality control.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, optimization, and indexing.
• Hands-on experience with DBT, including writing models, macros, tests, and documentation.
• Experience with Azure Databricks or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques such as star schema and normalization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for data engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
