Data Engineer

You will build data pipelines and visualizations to answer complex business questions through direct collaboration with data owners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data owners to gather, interpret, and visualize data for specific analytical requirements.
• Build efficient SQL queries and develop dynamic reports using Tableau and Splunk.
• Lead discussions with domain experts to define technical analysis methodologies.
• Translate high-level questions into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Present data findings and technical deep dives to cross-functional teams and management.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science or related data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience building data visualizations in Tableau.
• Ability to identify technical nuances and drive clarity in ambiguous requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
• Bachelor of Computer Science or a related degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Splunk for data analysis.
• Experience working with Cloudera Impala.
