Description

You will design, develop, and implement big data applications within the Hadoop ecosystem to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement big data solutions using Hive, Spark, Drill, Impala, and HBase.
• Develop applications following approved lifecycle methodologies and create technical design documentation.
• Write, test, and debug code to resolve technical issues through research and investigation.
• Support big data solutions through continuous implementation and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in computer programming or software development.
• 3+ years of experience with Java.
• 2+ years of experience designing and supporting big data solutions in Hadoop.
• Proficiency with Python, PySpark, Scala, and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with Hive, Hadoop, MapReduce, and BigQuery.
• Experience with GCP and Airflow DAGs.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Teradata, and other relational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with @Scale.
