Description

You will design, develop, and implement Hadoop ecosystem applications to meet business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement applications based on the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Write, test, and debug program code for large-scale distributed data processing.
• Create design documents and follow established life cycle methodologies.
• Resolve technical issues through research, investigation, and debugging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in computer programming or software development.
• 3+ years of experience with Java.
• 2+ years of experience designing and supporting big data solutions in Hadoop using Hive, Spark, Drill, Impala, and HBase.
• 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Unix and Teradata.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scala.
• Experience with @Scale.
