Description

You will lead data engineering initiatives to build and optimize data infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated ETL pipelines on GCP using Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer.
• Perform deep-dive data analysis using SQL, Python, and R to uncover trends and actionable insights.
• Develop and deploy real-time dashboards using Looker or Data Studio to support decision-making.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data workflows across cross-functional teams.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall experience, including 1-3 years specifically in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and transformation.
• Intermediate experience with Python and R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Experience building automated ETL pipelines, including working with streaming data.
• Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
