Description

Lead data engineering initiatives for the St Paul, MO office. You will own ETL pipelines, data analysis, and dashboard development using GCP and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated ETL pipelines on GCP using Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer.
• Perform deep-dive data analysis using SQL, Python, and R to uncover trends and actionable insights.
• Develop and deploy real-time dashboards using Looker, Data Studio, or Tableau to support decision-making.
• Streamline data workflows across teams and drive process improvements for better data accessibility.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of overall experience with 1-3 years of strong experience in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Intermediate experience with Python and R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Experience building automated ETL pipelines and working with streaming data.
• Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Background in data science or machine learning.
