Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and manage data engineering workloads on Red Hat OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
• Build, deploy, and manage data engineering workloads on Red Hat OpenShift, including templates and manifests.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible within hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data services, automating testing, deployment, and versioning.
• Implement security best practices in OpenShift, including RBAC and secrets management for data compliance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Platform Engineer.
• Strong experience deploying applications on OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies: Spark, Kafka, Flink, or Airflow.
• Deep understanding of containers (Docker/Podman) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and storage systems.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years tenure in previous data engineering roles.
