Description

You will design and implement Teradata database solutions centered on the Financial Logical Data Model (FSLDM). You own the end-to-end data pipeline, from mapping source attributes to downstream data marts.

Responsibilities

• Map source system attributes to FSLDM targets and downstream data marts.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Teradata utilities such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, and BTEQ.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and partitioning to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Implement data warehouse structures, including access controls and encryption.
• Troubleshoot Teradata-related issues and provide technical support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Teradata database technologies.
• Deep understanding of the Financial Logical Data Model (FSLDM) and experience customizing it.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata utilities: FastLoad, MultiLoad, and BTEQ.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling concepts.
• Expertise in Teradata performance tuning and indexing strategies.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting.
