Description

You will design, develop, and implement Teradata database solutions and ETL processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Teradata database solutions, including modeling, indexing, and partitioning for performance optimization.
• Map source system attributes to targets within the FSLDM and map FSLDM structures to downstream data marts.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Teradata Utilities such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, and BTEQ.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Implement data security measures, access controls, and encryption to ensure data integrity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• In-depth hands-on experience with Teradata database technologies.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Teradata utilities including FastLoad, MultiLoad, and BTEQ.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes.
• Solid grasp of data modeling concepts and database structure design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of the Financial Logical Data Model (FSLDM).
• Experience customizing the FSLDM model.
