Description

You will build and maintain scalable Data Lakehouse solutions by integrating structured and unstructured data sources.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Iceberg, Trino, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Optimize data storage formats and query performance for large datasets.
• Implement security and compliance practices including role-based access control and data masking.
• Manage structured and semi-structured data within object storage systems like S3 or GCS.
• Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams to automate and monitor data infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Apache Iceberg, Trino, Databricks, Delta Lake, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Strong background in data modeling, data partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata management tools.
• Eligibility for up to a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
